Who Needs An Apple?

Ensign Sue was aware that Data only ever removed his uniform willingly in order to replace it with clothing appropriate for a holoprogram. Curious, she invited him to participate in a 'historical re-creation'. No need, she said, to dress.

"A rural idyll?" he guessed, seeing the lush green orchard.

"Paradise," she replied. "But for authenticity, we should be naked."

References whirred in the android's circuits. "Genesis, Chapter two," he deduced, and disrobed at once.

"Before the fall," confirmed Ensign Sue, eyeing him appreciatively. Dressed as Eve, she approached the golden Adam.

"Oh my. I do believe I've found a snake."
